Hero Hot Chocolate Dublin

Butlers

Butlers is always a good shout. It’s molten chocolate, delicious, delicious as regular or oat milk. I usually get the praline which i’m a fan of and also, the kid’s size is enough for me.

Hatch

You’ll find these guys in Glasthule and Blackrock. You can sit in, in Blackrock but it’s the take away by the sea in Glasthule that I equally LOVE. they’re hot chocolate isn’t overly sweet or chocolatey and they add crushed flake to the top! YAS to that! I always get mine on oat milk and it’s honestly so delicious. in case you’re wondering which it is above, its the wine saucer + overhead pic.

Indigo & Cloth café

This guy is so simple and yummy, they make the milk yummy and frothy and then the chocolate is Áine’s chocolate on a stirring stick or Bare Bones. They do three types, milk, which is Áine’s then Bare Bones in single origin dark or single origin caramel. I’ve just tried the milk and it’s really creamy and yummy. I actually turned my nose up to hot chocolate sticks before but this one melted pretty quickly with just a few stirs.

Ladurée

Ok, so heads up, there’s no oat milk hot chocolates here, I took one for the team today and tried this for you guys, honestly, my tummy doesn’t like withstanding regular milk, it’s not a pretty sight when I do, BUT the few sips are had were delicious. it’s rich without being heavy and not too sweet. You can sit in or get take out here too + don’t forget some macarons or pastries while you’re here.

Two boy’s brew

So, this guy is a little different. The chocolate is in the base and on the sides of the glass and as you stir it get’s incorporated, once it’s all mixed super well it’s delicious and creamy and not super rich.
